Allergies

The Allergies page displays a table of the patient's self-entered allergy and drug sensitivity information. The table contains the following fields: Date, Allergy, Severity, Reaction, and Comments. The patient and/or the patient's delegate(s) can make all changes to this information. The patient's grantee(s) can only view all fields, if he/she has been given access to this page.

 

Add Allergies

1. Click the Add New Record button.
2. In the Date field, enter the date of the allergy or drug sensitivity or select a date from the calendar by clicking the icon and choosing a date.
3. In the Allergy field, enter the name of the allergy or drug sensitivity.
4. In the Severity field, enter the severity of the allergy or drug sensitivity.
5. In the Reaction field, enter the reaction to the allergy or drug sensitivity.
6. In the Comments field, enter details, remarks, comments or notes concerning the allergy or drug sensitivity.
7. Click the Save button.

Edit Allergies

When editing, all fields do not have to be updated, only those that require a change.

1. Click the Edit button next to the record you wish to edit.
2. In the Date field, enter the updated date of the allergy or drug sensitivity or select it from the calendar by clicking the icon and selecting a date.
3. In the Allergy field, update the name of the allergy or drug sensitivity.
4. In the Severity field, update the severity of the allergy or drug sensitivity.
5. In the Reaction field, update the reaction to the allergy or drug sensitivity.
6. In the Comments field, update details, remarks, comments or notes concerning the allergy or drug sensitivity.
7. Click the Update button.

 

Remove Allergies

1. Click the Delete button next to the record you wish to delete. The selected allergy or drug sensitivity is deleted from the table.
